"We moved to Chico, California a few years ago with goals to build our house and start a family in the beautiful Butte County. Nature abounds and surrounds us in Chico and Paradise California.
"Ironically the photos of the meadow and foggy hills are from Tracy, California and the Hills of Hayward, but we are excited to adventure and catch the beauty of the surrounding areas local to our new home." -Ben
Ben heads the companies very small division "Fast Chico", but has many dreams of helping it grow with a community focus.
"The 'handyman' can be both a dirty word or a lost trade. Most handymen move on to become contractors and forget the small jobs. We hope to help both handymen find great work as well as connect the community to great handymen, backed by a commitment to quality work and service. We want to focus on the 4 hour and under jobs that are lost in the shuffle and connect our community to quality contractors for the bigger jobs.
"Not everyone can afford a handyman or contractor; we envision a future where we can provide volunteer hours and receive donations for materials to help those disabled or in-need within our community.Â
"And those who have the aptitude but are missing the knowledge, we could see a future warehouse full of practical hands on tests and lessons and retired trades men that could teach the basics to kids, teens, and adults a like. Skilled trades are not rocket science, and we don't have the workforce to repair and do all the work necessary in our own community. We need a militia of citizens that can be empowered to learn and do their own work as well as help their neighbors."
